I just visited the Ypres battlefields. Given how little the front moved in four years, I wonder what is the appeal of this game?

I am interested as WW1 is something that keeps triggering me. Mind you, I have no experience with the series so that might be a tad prohibitive.

That's no problem at all, it will be fun to discover and discuss the the rules and the games together.

In that case let's see if we can get this to the table.
