Last Saturday ten eager players showed up at our meeting, three of them made their debut. Welcome to the Utrechtse Stadsleger Petar, Rob, and Frank!

USL member Bart stopped by for a short surprise visit!

Petar and Rob played Twilight Struggle. I don't know who won this game, but this picture was taken when the Russians had the upper hand.

Vasiliy and Menno were testing Vasiliy's Veil of Command.

Alf and Fierman were playing World War II: Barbarossa to Berlin. The Germans were pushing towards Moskow, but Stalin was playing out the famous pushback around Moskow with the Siberian troups. The time interval between the pics is a few hours.

Apostolos and Frank played No Peace without Honour. I'm not familiar with this game, so I can't comment on the dynamics, but it looked interesting! The pics below were taken a few hours apart.

And last but certainly not least: Martin and Martijn engaged in a battle of Great War Commander. The Germans needed to attack and after a bit of a rough start they came out victorious after decimating the French army.

It was a succesful meetup with plenty of interaction and laughter. I hope next time will be equally as succesful and fun!
